BAKED LINGCOD ON A BED OF LEMONS WITH GARLIC BUTTER

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 fillet of Lingcod from your SSS package

  • 4 TBSP of Butter

  • 3 Garlic Cloves

  • 2 lemons

  • 3 TBSP of Olive Oil

  • 1/4 cup of fresh chopped parsley

  • Sea Salt and Cracked Black Pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Open your lingcod packet from SSS and remove fillets. Pat with paper towel until dry and set on plate in fridge.

  2. Preheat oven to 425F.

  3. Melt the butter in a small frying pan over medium heat. Add the olive oil and garlic and let it cook for 1 minute. Zest the lemon and add it to the butter.

  4. Thinly slice the zested lemon and place the slices in the bottom of a baking dish. If there are extras, save them for the top of the fish.

  5. Remove fish fillets from fridge, season both sides with salt and pepper, then lay the fish on top of the lemon slices. Spoon or brush the garlic butter over the fish.

  6. Bake the fish for 10-12 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork. Serve with a little parsley sprinkled over the top for color.
